Decided to do a self release for the next EP on account partly of ... no word
from WTFD since March and partly because we want to, so there you have it. Just
a little more parping about to do and it will be ready. We plan to release it
on our very own record label,.also there negotiations in progress to do other
stuff.

The free cd is for the gigs where we get paid for performing only, at other
gigs the cd will be on sale for cheap, otherwise its paramount to pay to play
and were too poor to do that. Also pay to play is wrong,

Confirmed a gig in Lancaster on the 6th October, were going to bring the very
lovely Ndx
up to play with us, were just trying to sort the venue out, its a choice of

Now totally on the hunt for gigs, so if your a gig promoting type person get

Finally after several years the version of Oh
Danny We Are Not The Beautiful People Are We in its entirity is on the music
page, theres only the MP3 version as there wasnt time to do WMA, lets hope that
doesnt take 7 years to do like this has.

A group has appeared on myspace using our name. They say its alright because
some other bands have the same names, I pointed out that some people are paedophiles
but it doesnt make it ok, I think my argument and the whole issue of etiquette
was lost on them, how unfortunate that some people dont want to be original.
Obviously we neither invented nor own the word. God I must be getting old, its
only old people who are bound by any moral code, everywhere else its just a
free for all. And for some strange reason our myspace page has gone from google
and this latter day gonzoids page has appeared instead. Which is annoying and
confusing at the same time. Fine take our name but dont take our google ranking
as well, thats just anti-social. Im baffled because we get more plays and visits.
Any one got any ideas?

There are no videos showcasing te velvety tones of yours truly so Ive wanged
THE MUSEUM OF FAMOUS CORPSES on youtube, its sutitled because oddly it helps
you to understand what the hell Im singing about. While Paul is away Im toying
with the idea of dishing out free demos at our up nd coming gigs. My idea is
you come, we play, you get a free cd. Of course if you think we deserve money
for the hours of work weve put into recording it then thats better than groovy,
if not thats groovy too. Being a communist Ive got to wait for Pauls return
so we can discuss the pros and cons of the idea but hell it works for me.

Been busy little bees, working on some new songs and renovating some old ones,
we're going to be adding a rearranged new version of Beatnic
Headwax to our live set soon as its finished, we started using v4 of reason
and its a bit of a steep learning curve, we're sure they have their reason's
for making the changes they do to new variations of software but sometimes its
impossible to figure them out. There will be complete versions of the original
recordings of "Crank cult leader" and "Oh Danny we are not the
beatiful people are we" up soon to, just got to find them in the chaos
that is the gonzoid hard drives. We've reached 100 gigabytes of download now,
which is a lot.

We wont be doing the radio thing tonight after all, turns out that diversity
have double booked the studio we were supposed to be using!

What a night,
firstly...We went down a storm it seemed, people danced and cheered and numerous
indviduals came over to congratulate us on being wonderful after the gig, even
during it!!!! 1/3 the way through the set a guy came up to the stage and said
to me "Wow I was just going to leave when you guys came on, when I heard
you I had to stay and dance because you are Fucking awesome" I thanked
him and pointed out that I was a touch busy at that point but he was more than
welcome to compliment us as much as he liked when we had finished. we got on
with the set and aside from the usual lack of onstage sound it went very well
and I think we made some new fans and friends, which is nice.
Secondly... On before us were the very wonderful Ceramic Hobs, we love the hobs,
their music is not to everyone taste granted, but, they are what they are and
you've got to love them for it. Towards the end of their set some old woman
started yelling abuse at them and saying they should "Get off" then
off she trotted and made representations to the festival organisers. In comes
the sound guy and pronounces the Hobs finished because they were "Crap"
hey each to his own dude, we think they are ace. Hobs being Hobs and not averse
to a bit of fun carried on and the yellow jacketed gestapo were called to eject
them. I kind of feel sorry for the sound guy now because he was made to feel
a proper bastard for doing what he was told. Afterwards he was very apologetic
and in my mind redeemed himself by honestly owning up to make a real mess of
the situation, (I gave him a real hard time and did my best to make him feel
a complete bastard) however he shouldnt have been put in that situation in the
first place, John who was at our last gig with the Hobs booked them and us to
play and was really upset at the situation, I think he resigned his position.

hobs ironically they had 1 more song to do and it took half an
hour to get them offstage. Meanwhile on the mainstage hundreds of people were
watching some guy play records, weird eh?
