And finally after years and years andy ears an dye ars chum of Gonzoid and all round psychiatric social worker who specialises in the field of drugs and alcohol, Lee has finally taken the plunge and joined the Martin owners club, the thing about a Martin is the odd way it is so forgiving in that with the richness of its sound you can make loads of mistakes and basically no one can tell, but, it has such a precise balanced sound that it improves your playing by enabling you to hear every tiny error you make, work of art thats what it is. Though it has to be said the cowboy sunset plastic soundboard Martin guitar is an insult and demeans the whole universe.

Ive put a rough mix with scratch vocals (i.e.a vocal track so we know where to put the guitars not a proper finished vocal track) of 'Krank Kult Leeder' on the myspace page, this is so it cant be downloaded as we plan to release it on the new ep, it will remain on myspace for 2 weeks then Im going to take it off, redo the vocals remix it and bag it for the release then on with I dont care. It would be nice if some of you gave us feedback on what you think of our new version of 'krank'. though given the lack of use people make of the guest book I dont expect it.

Thats when I was born so Im 42 today, happy birthday me.(db) I saw the cover of a compilation by the very wonderful 'No means No' in the very wonderful 'Core Tex' (Oranienstrasse 3, Kreuzberg, Berlin) the other day and it has a photo of a wall with some bona fide graffitti reading, and I quote "How fucken old are no means no? give it up grandads" seemed kind of appropriate to mention this today as Im officially getting old, so is Paul, ask the children.

Gonzoid statistics.(Oh no its my inner mathematician again). This month has seen over a thousand visitors erm visit the site (What else would visitors do?) with a maximum in a day of 49 and a minimum of 12 giving an average of 33 at present.
Paul is working hard on new material and seems to have hit a fairly rich vein of form, he promises new tunes aplenty, I thought (Because Im extremely kind and always do things selflessly and for the benefit of others) that Id give him the space to write new stuff and go to Berlin for a bit, so come Tuesday morning Im off and I plan to write some new stuff in the kitchen over coffee whilst my travelling companions sleep, which reminds me we must finish the Berlin inspired version of dr fucking cheesehead that I brought back(db).

We were given the plan to organize a live webchat, here on the website. We will answer questions about anything gonzoid related and probably some stuff that's got nothing to do with gonzoid. The date has not yet been arranged on account of the idea only being thrown our way this afternoon. Whatever happens we will try to make it at a time appropriate to both the Europe and the USA, but these finer details will be worked out later.
On another interactive note I thought it might be interesting to offer some gonzoid RNS files for open contribution from anyone who knows what an RNS file is and furthermore the resulting tune will be mastered have guitars added by us and be put on the music page. (For those who are interested but dont know, RNS files are the programme files generated by the program 'Reason', we run version 3) So there you have it, you can contribute to a gonzoid song all you need to do is email us and we will send you an RNS file of something or another. Obviously we cannot send any reason files from contractually obliged stuff but no worries we've got dozens of tunes we've never used.

Would be remiss of us not to mention the passing of little cuz the snake who finally lost his 41 year battle. 'never trust an NHS consultant' (See guest book) indeed. You will be missed snake. On a lighter note all is thrown into chaos at the moment and work on the new ep has virtually ground to a halt. My (db) mum has been taken ill and this is eating all my spare time (and a lot of not spare time too). Get well soon mum. On a still lighter note The WTFD records showcase gig has been rearranged for June 30th(ish) we will keep you posted about this, we almost have our hour set now, Paul brought a cracking new tune to last weeks rehearsals which has become accidentally known as 'Gaffodil' Sounds to me like the kick ass drop d final track for the ep.
