ON THE SUBJECT OF(29/04/2006)
Music for leaving cinemas to, this weeks tune is the mysteriously titled 'Music For Leaving Cinemas To Part 3' (Another oldie from 4 track days dodgy quality etc) we thought that seeing as last weeks update was played, written, recorded etc wholly by db this weeks should be another Paul tune, this is just such a ditty, db features on bass but everything else is Paul's work. We are currently recording our live set to put up here to give you folks out there in E-land a taste of Gonzoid Live.

SOME PEOPLE
(26/04/2006)
have no morals, in particular the one who has been using our gonzoid email address to try and con people on ebay, we at gonzoid hope you contract a terminal disease whoever you are.......

AMBIENCE
(23/04/2006)
Is the order of the day today, this tune is part of the 'Music For Leaving Cinemas To' concept album that we will one day do. Please Remain Seated be its title.

ADOLPH HITLER
(16/04/2006)
Is our guest vocalist on this weeks song, this was cobbled together on the 4 track so the quality is rough but we like this tune and one day plan to do a great dictators e.p. with vocals from all your favourite dictators. Ifourwillistrongenoughthenothingcanfail is the title, well done Adolph, if you hadn't been a murderous fascist you would have made a great singer.

DISCOVERY
(14/04/2006)
We discovered bonkersly accurate statistics about this site and how you folks are using it and weirdly the 2nd most popular page last month was the guestbook. So I think its a shame you people out there in e-land don't write more stuff in it, slag us off, discuss your favourite bedtime beverage, anything. All contributions that we deem utterly hilarious will be rewarded with a password to the soon to be opened 'gonzoid members area' wherein there shall be all manner of stuff unavailable to non members. So come on folks, let us know what you think of us and maybe win some gonzoid goodies into the bargain.

AN UPDATE TUNE
(08/04/06)
This weeks update has evolved into one of our best live efforts, this version is from about 2000, its pretty dodgy quality, recorded on 4 track, in fact its the last thing we recorded before the 4 track broke. Its mostly a Paul tune, brother nurbert features on a very aggressive rhythm guitar. Wodgank enjoy.

AT LAST
(02/04/2006)
An update, This week its 'The Ballad Of Johnny Bongo's' another oldie from 4 track days, we don't know how this sounds as we managed to blow my speakers up rehearsing. This tune features John Mounsey (Who still owes me £30 and slag's me off for it...db) on bongo's and a fellow veteran Henry on slide guitar. Incidentally if any benevolent figure out there in webland wants to donate or buy us some speakers dont hesitate to let us know, we will even give you some soon to be released 'GONZOID MERCH'.

I'M 6
(29/03/2006)
Miles above Holland as I'm writing this, which is quite weird, Im very impressed with the clouds today. On a slightly more relevant note: The pressures of capitalism are delaying the release of our forthcoming debut E.P. Though It must be said the guys at WTFD are doing a sterling job in post production, we at Gonzoid think the version of Utah that they have done is very good, it can be heard on our Myspace site. Though obviously it isn't downloadable. I just looked out of the window and Holland has the most amazing dykes from above. Ah well, blighty beckons back to work and stuff. We plan to do gigs a plenty now Im 'Home' though I dont ever feel at home, I guess its a state of mind I dont suffer from. db

SORRY THERE WAS NO UPDATE
This week but I (db) was in Berlin click for some stuff about it.

HOW STUPID
(21/03/2006)
Am I? (Feel free to answer this in the now working guestbook)
The guestbook problem was caused by having black text on a black background!
I don't remember doing this but hey it isn't like computers have minds of their own, is it? It must have been me, mustn't it? db

HERE WE ARE AGAIN
(19/03/2006)
This week its the turn of 'Disillusioned' to be cast before you.
' The aaaaahhhhhh solo is built out of single samples of my voice, pitch shifted, one by one, it took an age to do and as a cruel twist of fate I now think its too long. Its easy to be wise after the event.' db
Work is progressing on the first Gonzoid release it should be available soon, The title will be finalized soon as will the artwork.
They may be hidden somewhere on the site!

THE GUESTBOOK
(18/03/2006)
will be functioning again soon, promise.

OLD AGAIN
(11/03/2006)
Slightly dumbfounded is the title of this Sunday update, we thought we should put this one up as it is one of the new songs we've been working on for our live set. It's the full version, and the second ever recording by us in our current incarnation. At some point in the near future it will be replaced by a 30 second clip of itself.

SORRY FOLKS
(08/03/2006)
As a consequence of the ever nearing release of our first EP (Should be out at the end of this month) some of the tunes on the music page are being replaced by 30 second clips of the same. So if you want em for free do it now as this is an ongoing process.

WE'VE BEEN
(04/03/2006)
Busy with the live stuff, and have added another 3 songs to the live set. We enjoyed playing live so much that we reckon disregard the comments about waiting until we have an hour of stuff ready; bring on the gigs.

FOR THIS WEEKS
(04/03/2006)
Update (Saturday this week, how irregular) we thought we would put the first song we ever recorded twice. 'The Museum Of Famous Corpses' was originally done on 4 track with the attendant dodgy quality, we thought it would be nice to revisit it and update it so we did.
