IM(30/06/2007)
Working as fast as I can on the new
EP but the thing is just when you think you are getting somewhere Paul brings
a new arrangement along and its so damn good you have to go with it. Hence the
delay in the new version of 'I Don't
care'. It was finished but now it isn't, but it is better for it. Its weird
but Im actually happy with this song, I wrote it 5 years ago and I never really
liked it, though obviously someone did, the old version is number 2 in the top
10 with a gap of over 100 downloads between it and number 3. Impending next
Ep status means we have to replace the full version MP3s and stuff with 30 second
clips so if you want em get em now, next up will be a version of 'the
museum of famous corpses' so likewise a 30 second clip will be replacing
that as well, its out of our hands, we just aren't allowed to make these songs
available for free if they are being sold. So take advantage of my laziness
and download them before I get around to doing the 30's.

FOLLOWING(23/06/2007)
The runaway success of Thursdays webchat (You had to be there to appreciate
the enormity of the event) we will be doing another one as soon as one is requested
by you, the visitors We will in due course be posting some of the text from
this event and it makes interesting reading but as I say you really had to be
there appreciate it
LAST(21/06/2007)
Night Jake turns around and says "Why is the webchat so late? I wont be
able to join in cos I've got school" Which raises an interesting conundrum.
We have tried to pick a time that is appropriate to the UK and the US but have
obviously failed so we will do another webchat next week at 8pm so that younger
people can give us abuse too. Incidentally we will be giving away some EP's
and stuff to our most imaginative participators both tonight and next week.
FINISHED(19/06/07)
Testing the chat room and it works, so I will be back with Paul on Thursday
night, anytime from around 11pm uk time. I may be here at pretty much any time,
I will open up the room whenever Im online doing other stuff.
NOW
Im testing the webchat software so if your looking in Im here, you have to supply
a user name password and email address then you can talk to me about any old
thing you want WEBCHAT
HERE(11/06/2007)
Is a video of me playing Buddhist
Headdress on my baby martin in my living room. The lovely Paul has now returned
from his travels and (I'm getting a sense of deja vu vu here) there will be
gigs soon. p. s. hello Vietnam you should get Baamboo.com to add more tracks
from us.
LAUGHABLY(07/06/07)
We received an email from ebay saying that they didnt get the email we sent
slagging them off for not caring about all the dodgy emails we've been getting
pretending to be from them, I wonder how they know they didnt get the email
if they didnt get it? It also said they are deeply concerned about dodgy emails
trying to cull credit card details etc, we have had another 2 of these which
brings the total to loads and still ebay do nothing and the emails keep arriving.
Paul is currently basking in the joy that is Prague, so I will be putting a
video of 'Buddhist headdress'
up as soon as I get my hands on an 'avi' to 'flv' converter because I've never
been to Prague.
ON THE SUBJECT OF(04/06/07)
Ebay what a load of rubbish it is, every couple of days we have been getting
emails pretending to be from Ebay trying to get details off us, credit cards,
passwords etc and so far ebay have done precisely nothing but send automated
responses pretending they are going to deal with it. We have had 20 of these
automated emails where they reckon to be concerned about fraud on their site
whereas in reality they couldn't care less. To prove this I sent an email telling
them how useless their "Anti Fraud" dept is and guess what...................
I got an automated response saying "This email did not originate from ebay
blah blah" same as the rest we have received. So beware everyone ebay couldn't
care less about you being conned so long as they make their money you and I
the user are nothing to them.
WE(26/05/2007)
Are quite surprised to see the lovely 'Ifourwillistrongenoughthenothingcanfail'
enter the top ten this week, with Hitler on guest vocals. It has been suggested
that there may be fascists out there who miss the point on this one, it is not
a celebration of hitler, It is meant as a statement against fascism. We at gonzoid
deplore fascists, racists and all other forms of bigotry.
SORRY(20/05/2007)
We didnt get the webchat organised yet, it is truly in the pipeline just the
pressures of money seem to be eating far too much time up these days, we think
a message board would be good to, I will press the gonzoid technical department
into action The new version of "I don't care" and Paul's new tune
accidentally called "Gaffodil" are working into the set well, and
we feel are becoming pretty close to being as completed as a thing gets. Nothing
is ever finished and the tinkering will no doubt continue, but, in the main
they are ready for playing live and the pair of them are certainly ep worthy.
They will be myspaced for 2 weeks when they are done.
More Evidence for the doubters among
you
HEY(15/05/07)
It appears that I (db) am going to be doing a few acoustic sets around the place,
obviously there is no rift betwixt we gonzoidians and all is fine on the gonzoid
front this is in line with our self support gigs idea, dates and stuff will
be posted soon as I know any of them. Work has begun on a video for the new
krank kult leeder recording.
THE(06/05/07)
Version of krank is now not on mice pace so if you didnt go and listen you will
have to wait for the new ep to come out. Though everything is a bit of a pain
at the moment, Im working my best to get the ep done, and 'I don't care' is
at last something Im happy with, I wrote that song in 2003 and would have binned
it long ago( because I don't really like it), but for the encouragement of one
or two individuals especially the guys at WTFD who insisted it was good and
worth doing properly, so I've done it properly and it will be following krank
onto mice pace for 2 weeks when its finished, and, now I like it and think its
good. How fickle eh?
