LAZY BONES
I just remembered I didn't do the mp3 file for this weeks tune, promise
it will be up tomorrow once my liver recovers from last nights alcohol intake
CHANGES AFOOT
Soon as feasible Paul is going to start contributing to the
site, that is to say, I will give him a copy of the program and dear
readers I guarantee you this, the site is going to get distinctly
stranger.
IF ALL ELSE FAILS
I can always build gardens

HIPPY CHRASTMAS
To keep in the festive spirit this weeks tune is ''Dr Fucking
Cheesehead'' everyone likes swearing at christmas don't they.
We will be playing our first gig at one of Deans nights, see
deans
site he is my neighbour and we have a jolly time engaging in musical
antics (See guitar solo at the end of ''oh danny'') There is talk
of filming the happy event, if this happens we will put video up on
the music page.
We have now rehearsed twice and will be playing to a
backing track because we haven't got a band. Were open to suggestions
but don't really view not having a band as a problem.
TIME TRAVEL
Well folks its back in time this week the tune for your sonic
delectation is 'Venus' another work of art from the mighty biro of
my old friend christopher hallam. Its about a fur
coat regressing back to its animal state and eating its owner. It
was recorded on a 4 track so there is a huge amount of hiss on it
but please bear with it, the hiss decreases as the song goes on. We
felt like it was time to start trawling through our backlog of maybe
40 or 50 tunes some of which are not too brilliantly recorded. Plan
is to put them up in as chronological as we can remember order. So
here is our first recording ever in our current incarnation, recorded
in 1999.
(Might I recommend turning the treble control down as this recording
is rather tinny)
Also there is a lovely picture of my (db)guitars for you
to enjoy. (Back row L to R; 1963 fender musicmaster, mexican fender
jazz bass, hofner prototype I picked up for £100 on ebay, seated;
1960 harmony sovereign, front row;2002 martin 000-16s, 1957
framus archtop)
CONTROL FREAK
A colossal thank you to Nic.thank you nic for
all the work he put in getting this site up and running and for putting up with
my endless control freakery, alas control has now been seized by yours truly so
there will be more updates more regularly. (Providing I can remember
how to use the program.)
NOT A RUMOUR AT ALL
In case anyone is interested a hamfatter is 'third rate minstrel'
and were not talking about the 'melt in your mouth not in your hand'
confectionary we all love so dearly.
ANOTHER RUMOUR HAS IT
That our hapless duo will be appearing under an assumed name,
oooooh! How mysterious...........................................................................truth
is we always wanted to play gigs under the name 'The Turds' so were
gonna.
THE MP3's are done
RUMOUR HAS IT
Rumour has it that gigs are in the pipeline for the end of January!!!!!
Backing tracks are being recorded and edited even as we speak (Hence haven't had
time to do mp3 files of new tunes yet).
THIS WEEK
This week we have some beautiful indulgences from the lovely Paul."Fagdog"
is .........erm.......................well you can work that out for yourself.
Its what happens when Paul is left to his own devices. "Paul's
not from Utah" is really......... erm.......... Im not doing very well
on descriptions am I! Bah work it out for yourselves, these are two of Paul's
most indulgent and also finest offerings. Enjoy.
NEW TUNE
In accordance with Gonzoid philosophy here is the weekly new tune: "Shining
light." There may be one or two tiny changes made over the next week
or so, the sound files will be updated if changes are made. Same goes for all
the stuff on the music page really, no recorded work is ever truly finished after
all, I get a closer approximation of how it sounds in my mind with each bout of
tinkering. Anyhow, enjoy.

P.S. If you are offended by how we have manipulated George Bush you're
probably on the wrong site.
GONZOID ON THE AIRWAVES
Following a manic week the radio play finally happened. We got good
feedback from places as far apart as Germany, the USA and Canada no
one slagged us off so on the whole the event was judged a success.
A hearty thanks to all who contributed and we hope you will continue
to listen to our sonic shenanigans for as long as we all shall live.
My personal favourite critique was that we sound like 'supergrass on bad drugs'
or was it 'superdrug on bad grass' something of that nature. Anyway back to reality
now its minus 4 outside and I have a 91 foot wall to build.
