1 Cars
Why the hell are so many people so into these air polluting death traps? Surely they shouldn't be advertised in such a way as to make them seem so desirable when they have, and continue to, cause more death's and maiming than all the wars of history put together. Numerically speaking Henry ford has been responsible for far more death and suffering Than Hitler or Stalin or Saddam or Bin Laden, probably put together. Why in these alleged times of enlightenment are these machines so encouraged in the western world? Is this another one of these bogus freedoms that are no more than diversions away from accepting responsibility for ones own actions? I'm sure if car ownership was restricted there would be mass whingeing about human rights, CAR OWNERSHIP IS NOT A BIRTH RIGHT nor is the ability to fly off to wherever you want whenever you want. The planet comes first and your choking it with your car exhaust fumes and your free air miles. We live in a finite space and we have finite resources within that space, air is one such finite resource, sure its produced by whatever means but those means of production are also finite.

2 Bogus academics who quite frighteningly are not bogus.
I give two examples
1 When I was at university a so called academic, was discussing the planets in a first year course with a group of impressionable first years (I went to university and got a degree in maths when I was 34, as a hobby more than a career move) who for the most part hang of every word of such individuals as this. Somehow the subject of astrology arose and our so called scientist began with one of those predictable I'm a scientist not an alchemist' assassinations of astrology. I sat there for a while listening to this when the thought came to mind to make this so called scientist look like an idiot to these impressionable young people. So I raised my hand and said 'So you have made a study of astrology then?' His face sank as he acknowledged that he actually didn't really know anything about it, he was in reality expressing a rather pompous opinion. I pointed this out and said that it was very unscientific to deny a thing you have never studied and that it was 'Arrogant to presume' that we had reached the extent of our knowledge about the interactions between living organisms and the heavenly bodies. The weird thing to me was that previously he had been telling us about how nothing was really solid and the only thing stopping matter from collapsing back to its pre big-bang state of singularity is opposing magnetic forces. Now any half wit knows that the moon has a magnetic effect on the tides, I always thought that astrology proper (not this rubbish you read in the papers and download from wherever) operated on just that premise, that is to say; the heavenly bodies exert a magnetic force on the things around them ( Hence we orbit the sun and the moon orbits us and we have gravity etc etc etc) The further away a thing is the more subtle the effect and in this way the whole universe and everything in it is connected. which makes sense given the whole pre big-bang singularity thing. This so called scientist and academic had demonstrated the principle of true esoteric astrology beyond any reasonable doubt one week, then banged on about how it was rubbish the next. Suffice to say I never got a decent mark off him for the whole rest of the course! In fact a good friend once copied an essay from me and got double the marks I did from this so called objective scientist. In the words of Clive Dunn in Dads Army 'They don't like it up em' which is kind of ironic as they are so far up themselves.

2 On Radio 4 the other day some posh professor was doing a phone in on the human liver. Someone phoned in asking this so called academic about milk thistle which if you never heard of it is a time honored and very successful liver tonic. Once again the I'm a scientist not an alchemist' prejudice kicked in and off he went saying things like 'If you think it works it may help you but there is no scientific evidence to support this substance having any effect blah blah blah' I can guarantee you this man had never done any research whatsoever on milk thistle or he would know that it has a beneficial effect beyond that of a placebo. I am pretty certain he never even read anything about it. Or he would know about the cows and the death cap mushroom. (Look it up) why are these bogus academics who are not bogus so prejudiced as to condemn things they know nothing about? Is this the institutionalized racism people are always going on about? After all racism is blind prejudice based on a total lack of knowledge isn't it?

THE AMERICAN MODEL

I hold the Margaret Thatcher responsible for all sorts of things and she comes number 1 in my list of people I'd most like to kick to death. Not only did she align us with that ????????? Ronald Reagan but she got rid of any British identity in favour of 'The American Model', where market forces are seen as outside of anyone's control and 'The free market' is viewed as sacred. I lost count of the number of these half wits that paraded before an unwitting public banging on about how they had been on a fact finding mission to the US and were sacrificing centuries of custom for 'The American Model'. All these New Labour cronies are Thatcher's offspring and I loathe them, as they don't have the balls or strength of conviction to undo all the damage she did. It is of use to them. They don't even regard her as an evil hag, they let her keep her peerage for christ's sake. She should be vilified and treated like the holocaust.
Whilst she was ruining our country she used various lackeys, One of her principle hatchet men was Kenneth Clarke she realized at an early stage what the destructive potential of putting a man like that in charge of anything had, and set him about undermining and messing up all sorts of areas of what was once our social infrastructure. I observed this Jazz Loving :::::::: (Insert your own favourite Ken Clarke defining phrase) being shifted from department to department, (Where else but in politics can a character such as Ken Clarke work running schools one week then roads the next? Its stupid, just because your a politician doesn't mean you are multi talented. Obviously) he made a mess of every one of them resulting in the undermining of 'The Way Things Were' and wrecking things in such a way that it appeared that the only option was to allow the evil hag to carry out her dastardly plan, the ill thought out (and even iller planned) annexation of the UK to the USA.

The country can never be run by accountants, excess capacity is not waste and if your stupid enough to not look where your going you shouldn't be able to get compensation. I don't believe in voting and I never have, I have never voted in any election for any of these clowns, I only believe in world government, not these tiny nouveaux Hitler's running about with their personality cult politics. Politicians are there to administer our taxes and liaise on our behalf with other nations but they behave like pop stars. They have lost the plot and so has everyone else the only way forward is mass apathy, to participate in a corrupt and wrong system to me is wrong (and corrupt).

I should point out at this juncture that I have nothing against American people, any more than I have anything against any other people. I'm against the attempts of certain individuals within the U.S. government who want to annex the whole world in a sort of market crazed holy war, with the god of possessions being installed where once deities reigned supreme. If you get my drift.

Environmentalism; there is one inevitable future, it is merely a question of 'will we be here to experience it', this future entails earth being burned to a cinder by the sun. In the meantime we need to find a way of surviving until this happens.That means a human future where everything is restricted and allotted to people in terms of environmental impact and nothing else. Profit at the planets expense will have to end.
Do you think the planet cares if its a lush green world covered in life forms or if it is a shriveled lump of rock spinning in space with nothing we would find tangible there to perceive it? The planet cares not. It doesn't matter to the earth what we do, it will still be there, we however might not. The planet is more important than any of us, than all of us, because it ain't only us what lives ere is it.
'Environmental fascism' is the only option, it entails rigorous controls on numbers, humans will no longer be able to breed at will, or use carbon based fuel at will, Once there are as many people as our resources can support then clearly no further increase in numbers could be permitted. I wonder if we are beyond this point now?
Crowded cities will have to be emptied.
The whole of the lifestyle we enjoy will be substituted for a lifestyle that can be supported by the planet, with an equal share for all concerned, fact is the smaller the population the better the lifestyle. (It sounds like communism doesn't it. It isn't, its inevitable, as is a single world government and a single world currency, its just a matter of when) we have to 'Lower' our lifestyle, we cant bring the rest of the world 'up' to where we are, if everyone in the world owned a car or a fridge or whatever we would all die due to the environmental impact., what we have here is so privileged, and it cant last. I heard the other day that for the population of China to have our lifestyle would need 3.1 earths worth of resources to support it and that is just China.

It doesn't take much thought to plot into the future the problems we are creating and the kind of drastic solutions that will have to be taken, THE LONGER WE DO NOTHING THE MORE DRASTIC THE INEVITABLE BECOMES. I don't think even the staunchest scientist really doubts that we are having a disproportionate impact on our world any more, if you forget about now and think about the human race as a whole, from the primordial slime to extinction it seems inevitable that there will come a point where we have to judge everything not from a point of view of the individual nor even the species but from the habitat, lets face it without it were screwed.
Environmentalism is not a thing to do to make yourself feel like your contributing to some greater good.
Its a war. Like the war the greedy people wage on the environment to plunder it for profit.
Makes me wonder if the conspiracies about all the political rulers being purple lizards from another world who feast on human flesh are true.

Today I wondered what is so macho about driving cars fast? any idiot can press a pedal down, I am confused by this, all these half wit youths around here have really pissoffably loud exhaust pipes and the way they exude satisfied nobheadedness whilst driving too fast has to be seen to be believed, I can understand how a cyclist would think himself macho, going under his own steam, after all cycling demonstrates factors associated with manliness, stamina, strength etc, so that I understand, its a little primitive, but hey, let the monkey have its little indulgences I say. But driving a car? cars are not macho machines, there a bit tacky actually, they smell pretty bad and are technically pretty inefficient. A macho machine would be a nuclear bomb or an iron foundry. If its about flirting with death, hell, inject dog shit, macho, its just childish and too weird for words.

Today some god bothering half wit tried to give me one of the little leaflets telling me how to be saved. I scowled at him and walked off. I view his god as an addiction he has, there should be treatment for this but there isn't. As soon as you become part of a religion you surrender the bit of yourself that questions stuff in favour of what seems like a nice furry pretty explanation of stuff that is clearly beyond comprehension. The thing I loathe the most is the self satisfied way these people believe they are going to 'Heaven' and no-one else is, except their cohorts. its such nonsense and who would want to go to 'Heaven' if its full of fucking christians banging tambourines and singing kumbaya etc. I used to argue the point with these people but they don't want to know, they want you to do away with your own ideas and blindly follow theirs. If your god exists I'm afraid he/she doesn't give a shit about us on this little rock in this corner of the vastness of space, the evidence bears this out. I think these people retard the whole of humanity, religion is corrupt, its just another tool of oppression, only it preys on people who are too simple to realize. When are we going to grow up?

So our beloved leader has decided to burden the offspring of all who breed with toxic nuclear waste, what an ill educated turd he is. There should be a law against burdening the future in such a way, it really is wrong. I sent email to him to express my utter contempt for this outrageous act, there are just too many uncertainties involved for such dangerous byproducts as nuclear power produces.
Can we be sure the capitalist system we have will still be around in 200,000 years? Empires come and go but radioactive waste remains, if capitalism fails who will watch over the waste to make sure it doesn't leak/fall into the wrong hands etc.
Will the place where it is stored still be stable in 200,000 years? This waste, as far as were concerned, lasts forever, generation after generation will die and this stuff will still be so deadly that if you can see it your already dead. These future generations are going to think we are total wanker's for allowing this to happen. We should be stamping nuclear power out and prosecuting those responsible not building new ones .I had an uncle who designed nuclear power stations, he drank himself to death and was miserable is that karma or what? How much does it cost to store ridiculously toxic nuclear waste for 200,000 years? and the politicians say it is needed for the economy, they lie, it is needed because they don't want to force an ignorant and greedy population to use less, waste less and behave responsibly, unfettered capitalism truly is everyone's enemy, especially the futures.
(I use 200,000 years because I cant be bothered looking the real figure up, some by products have fairly short half lives and will only be lethal for a few centuries, others have staggeringly long half lives and will be deadly for millennia upon millennia probably longer than 200,000 years, when I can be bothered I will look it up and alter this rant)

If you voted for these corrupt and evil turd's who ruin our country you are responsible for this as much as they are, blair and his corrupt cohorts know nothing of the science, they are advised by groups with vested interests, do you know how much money a nuclear power station costs/generates? and you get the stuff to make bombs into the bargain, good deal for these short sighted half wits that run the place innit. That madman Bush is planning to go to war with Iran over their desire to have nuclear power stations but his chum Blair is allowed to build new ones. I guess this is the special relationship that evil crone Thatcher set up with the Americans. I always said new labour were Thatcherites.
I know other countries build them and we already have some but hell, we don't need more, Blair used to bang on about being at the fore front of world environmentalism when it suited him to, now he uses a bogus environmental argument to justify polluting the world for millennia, what an absolute wanker. What about laying photovoltaic cells in the famine ravaged regions of the world and using the electric that generates? It would rejuvenate the 3rd world by creating jobs and putting money into their economies etc. We could do this but it wouldn't make economic sense. We should build power stations that burn economists and politicians for fuel I reckon.

I went to buy things in the world yesterday, I was standing in a queue of old people, queuing up waiting for a till in a very badly organized check out (Wilko's in fact Lancaster branch) when this women marched up and demanded to know why no one had moved up to the tills, I explained that we were waiting for a till to become unused, she simply couldn't get her head around the fact that there are four tills and the old people had formed only one orderly queue, she pronounced that this didn't make sense, the 4 tills 1 queue thing, and formed a second queue which mysteriously only had 1 person in it seeing this every idiot in the queue rushed all the tills at once forming 4 chaotic lines and much mayhem. Doesn't this exemplify everything that is crap about decaying middle aged 'when I look in the mirror i see a twenty year old' women? This decaying woman had pronounced everyone who queued idiots and caused chaos with her patronizing attitude. I should have made her look an ass by some witty and cutting retort but I didn't, You have to blame it on the media, the media creates such an I'm cleverer than everyone else kind of attitude in some people, this woman clearly thought herself of superior intellect to the 10 people standing in the queue as what we were doing 'Made no sense', funny thing was I had been standing in the queue for a while, the old people had formed it, it was working fine and no one was getting pissed off with queue jumpers who i think should be hunted down and shot, instead of foxes.

Hello my lovely rant, its been a while.

My bank rang me up to try and rip me off for £2000 and keep me in debt for 15 months longer than my current debts to them necessitate, what a strange world we live in, they tried to get me to take out a loan to cover a loan and some other stuff at a lower interest rate which they make look appealing, thing is if you have a loan already you've paid interest so what you end up doing is paying twice, a cunning ploy indeed. The offer they put on the table worked out to be a total scam and when I pointed this out the geezer in there was dumbstruck, he'd never even considered what I was telling him and told me no-one else had sussed it out, how many poor souls they have gotten away with this to, I dread to think, good job I've got a maths degree or I wouldn't have figured it myself, it took me a little while to figure it out with numbers and such and when I rang them the next day to cancel the loan they made me wait 2 days then told me they had already spent some of it (On my behalf) to pay some wedge I owed them so I would need another loan to cover this, I asked for my original loan back and they said I couldn't have it because they had paid it off on my account, in its place they gave me a 3rd loan with an interest rate rise of 4.1% above what I was previously paying, conning bastards what this does to my credit rating I dread to imagine given that the only thing showing on my bank statements is the rip off loan I didn't want. beware, your bank does not have your best financial interests at heart, they are a shop who try to sell you ' Financial Products' whether you need them or not.

As for O2 the phone company I recommend if you use them you sack them off and go elsewhere, over the duration of my contract with them which they let me out of because they mismanaged it so badly they cut me off for money I didn't owe, overcharged me every month for a year then refused to honour the promise I received from no less than 4 of their 'Supervisors' to pay for the calls I had to make trying to sort the incompetent blundering wanker's out, They gave me a bad credit rating because I didn't pay the remainder of the contract that they cancelled, the one they said I didn't have to pay anything to get out of that is, best thing was I didn't even get a bill for the money I didn't owe them until after I rang them to ask what the hell they were playing at by giving me a bad rating for money I didn't owe, I got the bill 2 days later. Again I implore you cancel your contract at the first available opportunity they are lying conniving incompetents. I had their 'Supervisors' promise to phone me back then go home several times, another one had a mysterious family crisis and another hid under his desk I reckon. I'm telling you this for your own good DONT GET YOUR PHONE FROM O2.

My family and other animals,

the rest of my family have chucked my mum into an old peoples home to basically stay there till she dies because she has dementia, all her former neighbours knew she was ill and looked out for her, many knowing she had big problems talking (Her speech centre is fucked) but took the time to work with her and understand what she was trying to get across to them. She hates being in the home and the last time I went to see her she was screaming and clawing at the door trying to follow me out when I went home. She has recently been moved into an 'assessment unit' because she got scared of some other inmate and had a go at him, he had real starey eyes or something, this is why I had nothing to do with my family for years it like "all for none and none for all", maybe that's why we are such a bunch of disassociated individuals.

and don't get me started on mortgage advisors, jesus we tried to get a mortgage through 3 different ones and in 3 months and with a variety of different potential charges, had they been successful, ranging from £270 to £1800 they utterly failed to manage it, in the end my other half went to her own bank and had one sorted within an hour and it didn't cost us a penny beyond the usual vast charges they levy.

So China produced more Co2 than they should have done in 2007 and Bush says the USA will not meet its emmision targets till 2025, why do we let these jackasses run the world? Its all about rich and poor I guess. Shame that its the poor who always seem to get they're arses kicked. It goes...... I'm stupidly rich so if the sea levels rise I will buy a hill to live on, your really poor so you don't matter.

Does anyone else feel like the world of humans is just a fucked up fucking pile of fuck? I was chatting with a chum recently about it and came to the conclusion that humans are stupid. My earliest memories of life are feeling like an alien that didn't fit anywhere and looking around the classroom wanting to be other people, I guess its not just me who feels that way, or is it?

How totally fucking insidious, I was just watching crap on TV and there before my very eyes is this advert for some stupid rubbish that is supposed to stop wrinkled people from being wrinkled, but there is a subtle as a brick change in the way this rubbish is advertised, now its advertised in a way of.....If you are not ready for cosmetic injections buy this shit as it will keep your skin looking tight until you are ready for face altering injections!!!!! All well and good that some people are foolish enough to buy into this potions and preparations to make you stay young looking rubbish but now they are advertising it in lieu of surgery, fucking hell the world has gone mad and I'm sick of "Great Britain" following the absurd lead of "The USA" here in England once upon a time we could at least tell ourselves that we weren't as easily led and stupid as the Americans, but it seems we are worse, America I take it all back, you are not the most stupid race of people on the planet, the Brit's are. We Brit's don't learn from your mistakes, we absorb them and make them ourselves several years later. Its only a matter of time before spoilt bastards are having nosejobs for their 16th birthdays here, like they do in America, it is so stupid, this kind of insidious double advert is going to breed a generation that thinks having invasive surgery fo the most trivial of reasons is actually ok, sure if you are disfigured and everybody stares at you, sure have surgery but surgery for wrinkles?????? This is the kind of thing that fuels the hatred of the west that terrorists have. I must confess "ADVERTISING PISSES ME OFF" it is so misleading.

and so when I wasn't as old as am know I lived in Greece, one resounding memory was working in what was then the biggest recording studio in Athens (Sierra studios on mesogion) with a Greek who used to turn up to record with a bunch of the "Hits of the day" on LP and say to us 'can you get this sound?' then play something off the record, we would set the computers and keyboards to sound as close as we could get to the recorded sound, then, said Greek would nick just enough of the riff for it to not infringe copyright, finish the progression with a few more notes and bingo release it as an original song, one of my associates over there released a song I wrote the lyrics for and credited the lyrics to himself on the sleeve, luckily I owed him some money so I agreed to take this money in payment for the theft of my intellectual property, I don't think he agreed to it but then I never asked him, and i haven't seen him since. I tell you this because some Greek band from Athens has chosen to steal our name!!! Like there arent any original names you can have, I reckon the thing about Paul and me is we can always think of new ideas whereas those who pilfer things cant because if they could, they wouldn't be nicking things off us. I know we have no legal right to claim a word as our own but I don't believe anyone chooses a band name without checking if there is an other band who uses it, and if you put gonzoid into pretty much any search engine or loads of music related sites there you will find us, and only us because since we decided to call ourselves gonzoid in 2005 we have been the only one, so if you hear a band calling themselves gonzoid that isn't us, (Believe me it is obvious having heard them that they are not us) it isn't us, its some bunch of wanabee us who are Greek. This pisses me off, unless they are a tribute group, but they don't do any of our songs, I guess they are just thieving, bankrupt of original ideas bunch of Greeks. Shame because in all but its music scene (Which is awful) Greece is a great place with really good people. Incidentally I chose a life of degradation and isolation over success in the Greek music industry, the band I was in was famous, we were in movies, we did TV commercials, when I performed with the record thief we sold out a 4,500 seat venue (We were the only act on the bill and the record company polygram had us mime, they didn't want us to play, just the vocals were live) we were in the press etc etc but it was awful, the rest of the band used to say things like "We need a more commercial sound" AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH! I thought we needed to make ourselves sound weirder, that was our appeal, we started out sounding quite weird, but the others who basically didn't know Jack about music wanted to be commercial,to me it works like this..... I have this ability to think up songs, I do this because I have to, I am the conduit for whatever comes out, I don't prejudge what I do and I don't try to "Sound Commercial" its great if people like what you do, even better if you can make money out of it, but as soon as you say we are this or we are that or try to fit your own square peg into someone else's round hole you have blown it, the muse will scarper and the thing that made you what you are is gone..

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I am one to say I told you so and I did, Ive listened with great hilarity as capitalism has gone tits up in the last few weeks. Greed then fear then greed then fear round and round it goes and wankers get rich and the rest of us struggle our arses off. For ages now Ive been bangin on at anyone who has so little to do that they bother to listen that the way things had become re house prices and credit based economics is fucked and can only be maintained for a short time and guess what? I was right. hahahahahahaha, glad I bought my house before the shit hit the fan cos its going to get tough to buy houses. There isnt any money in our economies anymore and things are so fucked that banks are scared of lending money to each other so as far as regular joes are concerned theres no chance of geting moula from banks, banks are stupid.

Wouldnt it be scary if the Conservatives won the next election in the UK, David Camron strikes me as this really grubby little creep who would grass you up to "Sir" for flicking bits of saliva coated tissue paper across the classroom, then take on that extreme conceited mantle of one who has assuredly done "Good" and one day you will realise he did you a favour by pointing out your discrepancy to the relelvaant authorities. I couldnt help but notice "The Sun" newspaper has decided hes going to win, theres a rank and foetid excuse for a newspaper, glad to see they still have tits to brighten our miserable existenccs for us, where would we be without some vacuous expression of the female form crudely displaying her jugs for all the world to gawp at. yeh yeh yeh.

I also hate it when people tout "Shopping" as their favourite hobby, what the fuck ????????? Im sorry but if the sum total of your interest in the whole universe is encapsulated by shopping I think you have something missing. Shopping can never be more than a means of acquisition, everybody like buying stuff but I think you are sadly lacking if you mistake the position of items withing our existence with the act of obtaining them.

Has everyone forgotten Michael Jackson was a paedophiliac junkie? I have no issues with him being a junkie, many of the best people are but didnt he narrowly avoid jail by an "on the steps of the court" monster payoff to buy his way out of a conviction for sexually abusing minors?
